sNews, by Croatian youngster Luka Cvrk, is arguably the world’s lightest CMS. With a download file consisting of only four files (plus documentation), and a single file core engine that weighs in at a slim 108 kilobytes, this is truly a feather of a system. Built on acknowledged standards such as PHP and MySQL, utilizing the strength of Apache and portability of XHTML/CSS, it packs one hell of a wallop though. There aren’t a whole lot of things that you can do with Really Big CMS’, that sNews can’t do. Give it a try and see for yourself.
